The cruises on Halong bay can be sometimes interrupted due to unfavorable weather and could be suddenly forbidden by the Halong Bay Management board due to dangerous weather conditions.
Those troublemaker conditions can be:
- Storms or tropical depression through summer and fall mainly.
- Thick fog during winter time.
- Too abundant monsoon rains between June and the end of August.
We are always follow the progress of the weather very closely to update for our clients. If there is any potential threat to any of our guests, the itinerary may be altered to try to avoid any interaction with the bad weather. Please always leave us your contact details, such as your hotel in Hanoi or your mobile number in Vietnam.
In case the boat is canceled before the departure from Hanoi, we shall notify you and make a 100% refund for the cabin and transfer charge if any. If you have booked a hotel with Zambaka before or after the cruise, the hotel booking remains unchanged.
In case you are already in Halong Bay, we shall try to book you on the day cruise with lunch on board which is usually at around US$ 50-80/ person, plus transfer costs from/to Hanoi.
